Lama Walli

Lama Walli has practiced for sixteen years in retreat, fifteen of which under the guidance of the great master Gendün Rinpoche. In 1986 he entrusted her with the responsibilities of a lama and since that time she has guided students who practice in retreat.

In 1996 Gendün Rinpoche initiated a retreat center for lay persons in the Dordogne and she takes part in its guidance. Here she assists her students in their development, mainly within a framework of shorter and longer individual practice periods or a Three Years Retreat.

Lama Walli often travels to the European centers of the Karma Kagyu Lineage that come under the authority of the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje. There she gives public talks, teachings and retreat-courses.
